HOBBYCON Sabah, the largest animation, comics and gaming event in Borneo returns this 17th and 18th December at the Sabah International Convention Centre. The event is organised by Kinabalu Impact, powered by Rema Synergy and endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah (KePKAS).
Here’s a quick rundown of some of the many exciting activities and attractions that HOBBYCON has to offer!
Creators’ Alley
A wide range of content creators such as cosplayers, streamers, illustrators, comics artists and craft enthusiasts will be here to showcase their talent through a variety of self-published goods and artworks.
Vendors Galore
Aside from the Creators’ Alley, you won’t want to miss the Toys & Collectors’ Avenue, Food Market, and Tabletop Lane. Here, you’ll be able to find a large variety of vendors displaying and selling their goods, including food and drinks, toys, games, and other items.
Featured Guests
Visitors to HOBBYCON Sabah will have a chance to meet some of their favourite content creators, including special guest cosplayers Knite and Yosuke, guest VTuber Sushiya, and comic artist Ben Wong. Star Pass buyers will even have a chance to personally meet and greet these special guests!
Other guests who are set to make an appearance at the event include cosplayers NONO Britannia, King Angel, Hiyoteru, Hinatasyah, FoxxyQueen and Ephe; local artist Kendylife; streamer Doddy Gaming; and VTuber Bella Yukihime.
Of course, that’s not all as HOBBYCON Sabah will also feature activities such as an All Stars March, a stamp hunt, games and esports tournaments, stage talks and performances, cosplay competitions, art competitions, and more. You won’t want to miss out on this exciting comeback!
