My Hero Academia is set to host an in-person event at Japan’s Makuhari Messe convention center, happening from April 17 – 18, 2027. Dubbed the My Hero Academia Ultra Expo, the event is touted as the largest in the series’ history, serving as the grand finale of the anime’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
While details surrounding the event are currently still scarce, we do know that the Ultra Expo will take place across Makuhari Messe’s Event Hall and Exhibition Halls 2 and 3. More information surrounding the event’s program, guests and tickets will be announced in early October.
My Hero Academia is a popular manga and anime series created by Kohei Horikoshi. The story is set in a world where most people have “quirks” or superpowers, except for protagonist Deku. Despite this, his tenacity inspires All Might, the world’s greatest hero, to gift him his quirk, which allows him to attend the hero high school U.A.
The anime adaptation debuted its eighth and final season on October 4th, with its final episode airing on December 13th. The manga crossed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide in April 2024.
