During the gamescom opening night livestream, HoYoverse surprised fans with the reveal of a brand-new game: Nodusfall, a co-op action game set in a world where both divine authority and order have fallen. Players take on the role of Weavers, forging bonds with powerful companions to battle earth-shattering foes known as the “Dreadnodus”.
In stark contrast to previous anime-inspired HoYoverse titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Nodusfall takes on a realistic art style, drawing inspiration from diverse mythologies around the globe. Players will form a squad with their companions to face off against mythical beasts, with each victory unlocking valuable resources that rewards players with new skills and weapons.
Characters can be customised with different combat styles and skill combinations, forging a unique tactical approach that fits the flow of combat and the needs of the team. New skills and weapons can further enhance your characters’ builds, expanding endless tactical possibilities for your squad.
A release date for Nodusfall was not revealed during the livestream. More details can be found on the game’s official website.
