‘Chainsaw Man’ Shows Off New Trailers For Mobile Game, ‘Assassin Arc’ Anime

Chainsaw Man is set to receive its first major game adaptation, currently in development for mobile platforms. A new teaser trailer was released for the game, featuring the song “ALL THE LYNCH!! ALL THE MINCE!!” by Maximum the Hormone. No release date was announced at the time of reporting.

The game’s announcement was accompanied by a new trailer for Chainsaw Man: Assassin Arc, which serves as the second season to the 2022 Chainsaw Man anime, as well as a follow-up to the 2025 theatrical film Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. Much like the game, no release date was announced for the new anime season.

The Chainsaw Man manga series was originally created by artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, telling the story of Denji, a young man who becomes caught up in a battle between humanity and monsters known as “Devils”. Denji himself recieves the powers of a Devil, becoming the titular Chainsaw Man, and is recruited to a mysterious government agency that hunts down Devils.

Chainsaw Man is regarded as one of the best-selling manga titles of all time, with the series’ first instalment, Chainsaw Man Part 1, having sold over 30 million copies as of 2024. Its theatrical film adaptation, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, grossed over 10.7 billion yen (over RM275 mil) in Japan alone.
