Disney Japan and Coly Inc. have released a new teaser visual for their upcoming mobile game, Disney Sparklink Stars, alongside a pre-release promotional campaign for the game. Exact details regarding the game’s content and gameplay have yet to be revealed at time of writing.
The game is being developed by Coly Inc., a Japanese developer known for popular otome mobile games such as BREAK MY CASE, which gained 1 million users in the first two days after its release; and Promise of Wizard, which has earned over 8 million users worldwide. Promise of Wizard in particular has also been adapted to a manga and anime series.
Users in Japan can currently participate in a pre-release campaign for Disney Sparklink Stars, where 10 lucky winners will stand a chance to win a Disney Store gift card worth 5,000 yen just by following Disney Games JP and Sparkling Stars on X, and reposting a designated social media post.
This isn’t Disney’s first venture into the world of Japanese mobile games. In 2020, the company launched Disney Twisted Wonderland, a game which re-imagines popular Disney villains as students attending a prestigious academy. The game has earned over 5 million downloads globally, and was adapted into an anime series in 2025.
