KLCC’s highly anticipated new retail mall, Ombak KLCC, will play host to both a limited-time Nintendo pop-up store and Malaysia’s very first Pokémon Center pop-up store, running from 12 September to the end of December.
At the Nintendo pop-up store, visitors can look forward to official merchandise from popular Nintendo franchises, including popular items from Japan as well as the latest releases; while Pokémon will also open its first-ever Pokémon Center pop-up store, featuring Pokémon Center Original merchandise, popular items such as trading cards and plush toys, and the latest releases, including exclusive merchandise for the Pokémon 30th anniversary celebrations.
To commemorate this exciting collaboration between one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic locations and both Nintendo & Pokémon, exclusive merchandise will be released, such as this Mario-themed T-shirt featuring 2 warp pipes resembling the Petronas Twin Towers.
On top of these merchandise offerings, the entirety of Ombak KLCC will feature unique themes inspired by different Pokémon throughout the duration of the pop-up store. Guests can expect to experience something fresh whenever they pay a visit to Ombak KLCC.
Ombak KLCC will also host various events such as Meet & Greets with both Pikachu and Eevee, gifts with selected purchases, and TCG learn-to-play sessions, as well as trial play sessions for the Nintendo Switch 2, ensuring there will always be something new for everyone!
