Swedish indie publisher Raw Fury and developer Fool Moon will release their dark card-based investigation game, Hillthorn, on November 10. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and mobile devices via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Hillthorn is available to wishlist on Steam today. Intrepid explorers can also begin their investigation early via the game’s demo, newly released in conjunction with Steam Next Fest.
Gameplay Features
- A World in Cards – Every eerie and unsettling detail of Hillthorn’s story is revealed entirely through Clue cards, which can be Investigated, Explored or, in some instances, communicated with, in your search to get closer to the truth behind the disappearance.
- You Are an Outsider – You’ve been tasked to find a missing person, though it’ll take some finesse to draw information from the locals, who seem reluctant to share details with someone outside their Flock.
- Time is in Short Supply – The clock is ticking. There are too many threads to follow and too little time. Something seems keen on letting you revisit untrodden paths, but at what cost?
Hillthorn launches on November 10 on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices via Google Play and the Apple App Store. To learn more and stay in the loop, follow the game’s developer on X and Bluesky.
