Leading anime, comics, and games merchandise retailer Animate is set to open its first-ever store in the Philippines later this year. The upcoming Animate Manila store will mark the company’s third expansion into Southeast Asia, following outlets in Thailand and Malaysia.
Animate Manila will be located at the One Ayala shopping centre in Makati City, Metro Manila. It joins Animate’s growing list of stores worldwide, with over 120 outlets available across the globe. Much like its sister outlets, the store is expected to host a wide range of anime products, such character merchandise, books, DVDs, and CDs.
An official opening date was not revealed at the time of writing. Fans are encouraged to follow Animate Manila’s X/Twitter account for future updates.
