Bushiroad and WonderPlanet have released Hunter X Hunter Nen X Survivor, a new free-to-play mobile game based on the popular anime and manga series Hunter X Hunter. The game is described as a roguelite where you mow down waves of enemies with Nen abilities, using random skills and party synergy to create different builds.
Hunter X Hunter Nen X Survivor is available to download now on Google Play and iOS. It also features a fully-animated opening cutscene from Studio M2 (MFINDA, Pluto), which was exclusively created for the game. Check it out below:
The Hunter X Hunter series is based on a manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi, which has been running on and off since 1998. The series follows a young boy, Gon Freecss, who sets out to become a Hunter (a licensed adventurer and treasure hunter) in order to find his missing father.
The manga is one of publisher Shueisha’s best-selling manga series, with 84 million copies in circulation worldwide. It has been adapted into two different anime series, starting with a 1999 adaptation from Nippon Animation, and followed by a 2011 adaptation from Madhouse.
