Monster Hunter Wilds is approaching its 1st anniversary since launch, and Capcom is celebrating with a slate of exciting in-game events! The anniversary celebrations will kick off this 18 February and run for the rest of the month, available through the Ver.1.041 update.
Here’s a quick breakdown of everything new:
Anniversary Event
Hunter Appreciation Pack
- How to Claim: Log in anytime from 18 February to 19 March to claim a special item pack. This reward can only be claimed once during the event period.
Character & Palico Edit Voucher
- How to Claim: Download from your platform’s digital store. All players can use this voucher, regardless of whether they used the first free ticket distributed during the launch of the game.
Festival of Accord Events Rerun
Previous Festivals of Accord events are set to return on a weekly rotation, allowing players to obtain limited-time content, including special equipment that was available through login bonuses.

- Flamefete: 25 February (Wed) – 4 March (Wed)
- Dreamspell: 4 March (Wed) – 12 March (Thu)
- Lumenhymn: 12 March (Thu) – 19 March (Thu)
Arch-Tempered Monsters Arrive
The 10★ Arch-tempered Arkveld makes its debut in a new permanent event quest, available from 18 February! It will also feature in a new free challenge quest, available from 19 March.
10★ quests will reward successful hunters with Timeworn Charms, which have a chance of being appraised into rare-quality talismans, and Battle-tempered Emblems, which can be used to reinforce Gogma Artian weapons.
In addition to Arch-tempered Arkveld, each of the Forbidden Land’s apex predators will also get the 10★ treatment! Fans can take on a high-difficulty hunt-a-thon optional quest featuring 10★ Arch-tempered monsters.
Original Weapon and Pendant Design Winners
Players will be able to get their hands on the winning designs from Monster Hunter Wilds’ weapon and pendant design contests, available via a new event quest from 18 February onwards. These include the weapon Shatterseal (Great Sword), designed by Nolan Lu; and the pendant Meatmergency!, designed by ikeiln.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Collaboration
To celebrate the launch of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, players can take on a side mission with Rudy, the Royal Palico, and complete it to earn exclusive Rudy-themed Palico equipment and Monstie pendants!
If your Hunter Rank (HR) is 9 or higher, you’ll also find an NPC named Sole at the Scarlet Forest base camp, who will task you with a mission to deliver special eggs back to camp. Complete the mission to earn special equipment and pendants, including a chance to earn better rewards if some of your eggs are “Highly Potent.”
Extra Side Mission
Join support hunter Nadia on a new co-op side mission, and complete it to get your own set of Nadia’s armor!
New Event Quests Every Week
Get ready for a wide array of event quests, including a unique quest that rewards special pendants, a quest featuring the least hunted monster, and a quest that allows you to obtain the dazzling Gala Suit α armor set and Felyne Star α Palico equipment!
