The creative team behind Needy Streamer Overload have announced their next project, Sister Other Paranoia, a dark visual novel releasing on Steam this August 2026. The game is being released under HazeDenki, a new studio that includes Needy Streamer Overload writer and director nyalra, artist Ohisashiburi, composer Aiobahn +81, and UI designer Maruino.
Sister Other Paranoia follows a light novel writer who develops the ability to read minds. After winning an award for his writing, the jealousy and envy he recieves causes him to lose trust in other people, save for his younger sister. Clinging to each other just to stay alive, the two sink night after night into a twisted, unhealthy codependency.
The game is described as an old-school visual novel, where text fills the entire screen. Players can take their time to read through the text, or right-click to hide it and enjoy the art. Like Needy Streamer Overload, Sister Other Paranoia will discuss heavy themes such as murder, self-harm and unhealthy relationships, though no explicit content will be shown on screen.
