The highly anticipated Indonesian indie game Kejora has finally received a release date, now set to launch on PC via Steam this September 4. This announcement was made during the Six One Indie Showcase on May 22.
A Time Loop Mystery in a Beautifully Illustrated World
Follow a young girl named Kejora as she and her friends embark on a journey to uncover the origins of the mysterious time loop that has cursed their village. Developed by Berangin Creative and published by Soft Source, Kejora blends narrative-driven puzzles with breathtaking hand-drawn animation.
Originally announced in 2021, Kejora has undergone several changes in direction and genre, solidifying its shift to a narrative puzzle adventure in 2023. Despite these shifts, the game’s stunning, hand-drawn visuals remain at its core.
Inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli, Kejora integrates a distinctly Southeast Asian aesthetic into its intricate art and animation, immersing players in a world both familiar and fantastical.
Kejora launches digitally on Steam on September 4, 2025, with plans for future Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox versions.
