Etheria: Restart Season SS2, “Rime Tiara”, is set to launch on December 4th, 2025, and will run until February 2nd, 2026. The update will transform Etheria into a realm of snow and ice, centering the majestic Everwinter Tribunal, a grand, frosty new Contender Realm arena perfect for high-stakes Summit Arena battles.
Players can also refresh their style with stunning seasonal cosmetics: Frostnight Justiciar (Chaku Outfit), the Snowveil Resolve (Male Hyperlinker Loungewear), and Winter Blossom (Female Hyperlinker Loungewear). These ethereal designs will be available as rewards through SS2 progression and various in-game events.
New Animuses
A core focus of the new season is the introduction of five powerful new Animuses, each bringing unique abilities and lore to the battlefield:
- Lowan (Dec 4th – Dec 18th)
- Santik (Dec 4th – Dec 18th)
- Palin (Dec 25th – Jan 8th)
- Senyu (Dec 25th – Jan 8th)
- Flamelia (Jan 15th – Jan 29th)
Ability Awakening
In a major win for players who love using non-SSR characters, the new Ability Awakening system launches with SS2. This game-changer allows Turandot, Sania, and RC-77 to unlock massive buffs via an Enhancement Tree in the Prowess tab. Three SRs will be awakenable per season, providing a fresh meta boost to favorite non-top-rarity units.
The Shell System is also getting a significant overhaul, making customization and optimization easier than ever:
- Shell Overhaul: Players can now refine matrices and swap passives using special materials.
- Shell Projection: Customize Legendary Shell appearances with event drops for visual flair.
Quality-of-Life Boosts
Hyperlinkers can look forward to a full in-game Events calendar, ensuring the fun continues through the holidays and beyond:
- Season Celebration: December 4th – December 11th (sign-in supplies).
- New Year’s Events: December 25th – January 1st (missions and exclusive cosmetics).
- Chaku Treasure Hunt: A key-based hunt for essential enhancement materials.
The SS2 and mid-season updates will also deliver highly requested Quality-of-Life (QoL) upgrades, including Quick-Complete features for Phantoma Theater, auto-selection in Infinity Train, and improved Module management tools.
