Japanese Artists Re-Imagine ‘Back To The Future’ For Its 40th Anniversary

Back to the Future is celebrating its 40th (yes, 40th) anniversary in style this year, with a special exhibition at Tokyo Comic Con 2025 that will feature costumes and props from the film, including a screen-used copy of Marty McFly’s iconic hoverboard. 

Fans can also expect photo opportunities, guest appearances from actors Christopher Lloyd, Lee Thompson, Tom Wilson, and Claudia Wells, as well as some new merchandise for the film. Most exciting of all, the event will also display commemorative artwork from 10 Japanese illustrators:
