Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse recently unveiled the Southeast Asian leg of HoYo Fest, a gaming celebration that’s set to take place in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam from July to August, as well as Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines from October to November.
HoYo Fest is described as a global series of online and offline festivals hosted by HoYoverse, with this year’s festivities being especially significant, as it marks the first time that all six of HoYoverse’s properties will be gathering under the same roof. These include Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail, Tears of Themis, and the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero, as well as an interactive session with HoYoverse’s live virtual actress, Lumi.
Each game will be given an exclusive space at the event, with themed décor that’s sure to offer an immersive experience for diehard fans and casual players alike. Here’s a taste of what you can expect:
Genshin Impact: Travelers will be able to connect and compete with each other in various interactive activities such as stage competitions and quiz games, set within a recreation of a popular attraction in Mondstadt.
Honkai Impact 3rd: Dive headfirst into the Sea of Quanta via a hands-on gameplay demonstration, then stick around for the premiere of the annual Honkai Impact 3rd official online concert on July 29, 8pm (UTC +8).
Honkai: Star Rail: A new addition to the HoYoverse family, Trailblazers will be able to explore a custom designed booth themed after the Xianzhou Luofu, where interactive activities and stage competitions await.
Zenless Zone Zero: Get a glimpse of this upcoming game by trying out its demo, which takes place in a booth based on the Random Play video store.
Tears of Themis: Attorneys will be able to enjoy a romantic proposal scene with the game’s four male protagonists.
Lumi: HoYoverse’s first-ever live virtual actress invites visitors to take a peek into her cozy room!
Each booth will also offer merchandise for sale, including official figurines, plushies, standees, and HoYo Fest exclusive goodies that can only be found at the event.
