GARNiDELiA, a unit of consisting of two members, female vocalist MARiA and composer toku, have announced the release of their 1st album since transferring to Pony Canyon, ‘Duality Code’. This is their 5th original album in total and will mark the 12th year of their career. They have also announced their live performance tour in 5 cities in Japan, starting from the 5th of December.
On the day of their debut anniversary, the release of this new album was announced to their fan club members through a streaming programme before it was revealed to the media.
GARNiDELiA made their major debut in 2014 and have done many collaborations with anime series in the past. After transferring to the Pony Canyon music company, they released individual solo works for a year before restarting their activities together with this new album.
As the title of the album ‘Duality’ suggests, the two individuals’ talents and beliefs were put into this creation. This album will include 12 songs, including ‘Otome no kokoroe’, which is the opening theme song of TV anime “Taishou Otome Fairy tale”; and ‘Haruga Kitayo’, the opening theme song of the TV drama ‘Douse Mou Nigerarenai’, which will air on MBS (Japan’s Mainichi Broadcasting System) and other platforms. The music video for ‘Otome no kokoroe’ is also available to view online.
They also announced their live performance tour in Japan, titled ‘GARNiDELiA stellacage tour 2021→2022 “Duality Code” ‘, which will start from December 5th (Sunday) at CLUB CITTA. The duo plans to visit 5 cities on tour and have also revealed a new visual for the event.

Storyline
This story is set in the Taisho era…
Tamahiko Shima was born in a wealthy family and grew up enjoying his family’s great fortune. But he had a major accident and lost the ability of his dominant right arm. His mother passed away and his father lost interest in him, casting him away to the countryside with the excuse it would help heal better. Soon he became a bitter pessimist who hates everything in the world.
One day a girl called Yuzuki appeared to take care of him. She was sent to him by his father as a wife. In the beginning Tamahiko was annoyed by Yuzuki but gradually he started to open up to her kindness and her smile…
