Late last month, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their official submissions list for the 91st Academy Awards. Among them were 25 animated movies which have entered the race for Best Animated Feature.
The list includes some expected titles from animation giants Walt Disney Animation Studios (“Ralph Breaks The Internet”), Pixar (“Incredibles 2”), and Illumination Entertainment (“The Grinch”). Also joining them as one of the frontrunners this year is Wes Anderson’s “Isle of Dogs” and GKids’ “Mirai”.
