A new compilation album featuring music from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series, titled SEED Songs, is set to release on January 16, 2027. First-press editions will also come in a limited-edition case featuring a newly created illustration.
The collection will feature 15 tracks, bringing together theme songs, insert songs and one brand-new track from the franchise. Among the included songs are See-Saw’s “Sarigiwa no Romantics” and FictionJunction’s “Distance”, both of which will make their first appearance on a Gundam SEED-related album.
Since its debut in 2002, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED has grown into one of the franchise’s popular entries, with its reach extending to long-time fans and newer audiences. Its latest theatrical instalment premiered in 2024.
