Escape An AI Assistant Gone Rogue In ‘BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN’

Soft Source is teaming up with Serafini Productions for BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN, the latest instalment in the popular BrokenLore horror franchise. The game is coming soon to Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The game follows Kazuaki, a student who comes across a mysterious thumb drive that contains an innovative study support program. When he launches it, he is introduced to MIKI-CHAN, a virtual AI anime assistant designed to be friendly, reassuring, and supportive of his studies – but it isn’t long before something begins to change.

Jealousy and possessiveness creep into the simulation, dragging Kazuaki into an increasingly disturbing nightmare. As the world around him begins to unravel, Kazuaki must face a series of psychological trials that push him to his limits. His only advantage is the Rewriter, a mysterious tool capable of altering reality itself.

MIKI-CHAN first appears in BrokenLore: DON’T LIE as a friendly and reassuring AI companion, created to offer advice and emotional support to its users. BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN puts her at the center of the story, revealing a darker side of her personality while delving deeper into themes of trust, emotional dependence, and the increasingly complex relationship between humans and AI.

BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is coming soon to PC and console. Wishlist the game on Steam or the PlayStation Store.
