Xbox brought a slate of announcements to the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast, giving players a look at what’s coming from Activision, Bethesda, KOEI Tecmo, SEGA and more, even including a surprise appearance from Hideo Kojima himself. Gachiakuta Breakout
The hit shonen anime is getting its own beat-them-up RPG game in the form of Gachiakuta Breakout, where you can play as the titular characters of the anime and use their Vital Instruments in battle. The game will be coming out in 2027.
Crazy Taxi World Tour
It is time to drive like a madman again in the newest Crazy Taxi World Tour, where this time around you’ll put the pedal to the metal all over the Land of the Rising Sun. Your tour of Japan begins in 2027.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4
Another Call of Duty is hitting the shelves with Modern Warfare 4, and this time the game sees Captain Price and Ghost duking it out through the streets of Korea. Get your hands on the latest instalment of this popular first-person shooter in October 2026.
Persona 4 Revival
The Detective Prince of Inaba is finally revealed through a new showcase for the long-awaited Persona 4 Revival, introducing party member Naoto Shirogane. We also get a closer at the new graphic updates coming to the remake, ahead of its early 2027 release on Game Pass.
Shape of Dreams: The Starless Path on Consoles
The top-down action RPG roguelite game Shape of Dreams: The Starless Path is now available on consoles. You can get your hands on their newly released character Cetus, the Sea Monster, today.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember showcased the game’s combat, revealing a new boss fight where you can try out with their demo that comes out today. The full game will be released in 2027 on Game Pass.
Hope in the City
A narrative mystery game is on the horizon with Lofty Sky’s Hope in the City, where an artist takes up the investigation of finding her family and their secrets. Solve the enigma in November 2026 on Game Pass.
Bloomwalker
Want something cozy that’s reminiscent of Studio Ghibli? Bloomwalker sees you restoring lands, decorating your house, and befriending critters along the way. There’s no announced release date as of yet, but it’s a game to look out for.
Faraday Blues
Faraday Blues is another narrative puzzle solving game that is full of intrigue and mystery. This sci-fi visual novel will be coming in 2027.
Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories
Koei Namco showed off the latest trailer for their latest JRPG game Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, which showcases Rutger and Lenja from Atelier Yumia. The game will be releasing in 2027.
Raji Kaliyuga
India-based Nodding Heads Games showed off a new character and combat gameplay from their upcoming title Raji Kaliyuga, which serves a sequel to their previous title Raji: An Ancient Epic. The game has no confirmed release date.
Once Human Isles of Abyss
Isles of Abyss is an expansion for the free to play post-apocalyptic survival game Once Human, which showcases odd new worlds with their own eldritch horrors. The expansion will come earlier than expected, launching on 22nd October 2026.
Edge of Memories
Indie French developer Midgar Studios revealed a new trailer which showcases their capabilities in developing RPG games. Join the fight against Corrosion to save the planet on 5th November 2026.
Genigods Nezha
China is on a roll with another action-RPG game embedded in the myths and legends of ancient China. The trailer demonstrates new gameplay, monsters and characters ahead of the game’s release in 2028.
Fallout 76: The Slasher
The latest free update for Fallout 76, the Slasher, is out now for free, and the game seems to take the horror route this time around. Get into the wasteland and enjoy the massacre today.
Bloodstained the Scarlet Engagement
A new side-scrolling metroidvania set in ye olde England was announced with two main characters, Leo and Alex. Battle through the old English streets while fighting against cursed monsters in 2027.
Hideo Kojima’s Physint
Hideo Kojima did not waste anytime after leaving Sony for Microsoft, as he showed up to announce the cast members of his upcoming game, Physint. This innovative new psy-op game has no confirmed release date, yet but it is news worth following.
