Directly after the Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, Nintendo livestreamed the Nintendo Direct on 9.9.2026, and there are many amazing things in store for you! With new games and adventures for all your favourite franchises and more are coming to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, there’s lots to look forward to.

Kirby And The World Beyond Set To Arrive In Spring 2027
The beloved Kirby is back with a new adventure before him! This new instalment to the Kirby franchise will have an expansive world teeming with adventure and beauty, ripe for exploring! Put Kirby’s Copy Abilities and your mind to the test to solve tricky trials and tribulations.
Kirby and the World Beyond is set to release for the Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2027, coinciding with the Kirby series’ 35th Anniversary.
Metroid Ravenous Coming 28th January, 2027
It’s a battle for survival in the latest Metroid game to come! Metroid Ravenous will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on 28th January, 2027. This includes both standard and special editions.
At launch, the game will also release alongside the Metroid Ravenous amiibo2 collection featuring a Samus and Chozo statue, respectively. The Special Edition will have a bonus amiibo (Metroid Suit Samus) and a steel game case!
Final Fantasy VII Revelation Set To Launch On 8th April, 2027
The final part of the Final Fantasy VII remake series is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, launching on 8th April, 2027. Experience 30 years of FINAL FANTASY VII by exploring a boundless world rife with magic and wonder in Final Fantasy VII.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered & Upcoming New DLC Set To Arrive In 29th September, 2026
Geralt returns along The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered this 29th September. Launching for the Nintendo Switch 2, the modernised version of The Witcher 3 will feature improved graphics, performance and visuals. The Switch 2 version also features gyro aiming, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and touch screen support!

Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis Launches On 12th February, 2027
Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis is launching on 12th February, 2027 for the Nintendo Switch 2. This entry into the Tomb Raider franchise follows Lara Croft once more in a reimagining of her iconic adventure! Travel across the world, explore ruins, and discover ancient artifacts utilising Lara’s signature acrobatics and dual-pistols.

Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival Are Coming To Nintendo Switch 2 In 2027
The highly celebrated Persona series is back with two huge games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2! Coming 20th May, 2027, is Persona 4 Revival, where you’ll revisit the Midnight Channel to conduct some supernatural investigations of bizarre murders with some friends. Also arriving in 2027 is the latest instalment of the Persona series, Persona 6, bringing a brand new story and cast.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea Coming This November
Go on an adventure in a distant kingdom and discover its mysterious history as Merfolk! Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea lets you explore new biomes, with customizable areas. It also features new stories starring Milo Thatch from Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Jack Sparrow from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean and Megara from Disney’s Hercules.

Star Fox Free Update / Star Fox Adventures Coming 29th September
Star Fox will receive a free update this 29th September for the Nintendo Switch 2! The update will see Battle Mode increasing to 4 players, and getting three new stages! Star Fox Adventures will also be joining the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics library, and will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Launches On 17th September, 2026
Compete in the Heroic Games and uncover connecting stories when you enter the Dagdan Empire in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on 17th September, 2026.

Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX Is Launching On The Nintendo Switch & Switch 2 On 16th February, 2027
Relive Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3 as it’s born-again with enhanced visuals and gameplay in Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX! Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX launches for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on 16th February, 2027, featuring content unreleased in the Americas.
The game is available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop and also include four in-game items for the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL game. Additionally, physical versions include three Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards.
Danganronpa 2×2 Launching 14th January, 2027
Launching for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on 14th January, 2027 is the next instalment to the Danganronpa series! Danganronpa 2×2 will feature the setting and characters Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair scenario but enchanced visually. It’ll also contain an entirely new story, giving players a different set of victims, culprits and tricks to experience.

Mario Kart World Free Update (Ver 1.8.0) Now Available
10 classic courses from Super Mario Kart are now available in Mario Kart World! After being hidden in plain sight for so long, players can now race in Choco Island, Vanilla Lake, Ghost Valley and more in standalone races in VS Race! Additionally, the update contains two new Knockout Tour routes (Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally), and a Spectator Mode.
Mega Man: Dual Overdrive Launches In Spring 2027
