‘Stupid Never Dies’ Serves Up a Bite of the Action to Come in New Trailer

Publisher SEGA and developer GPTRACK50 are giving fans a new look at their upcoming pop-punk action RPG Stupid Never Dies through a new action trailer. Director Eiichiro Sasaki provides an overview of the funky zombie action players can experience from the game when it launches on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 21.

What’s the one thing a Zombie doesn’t have to worry about when battling the underworld’s worst of the worst? Dying, obviously! And with that little pesky fear taken out of the equation, Davy is free to attack relentlessly and without consequence – why dodge when you can just take a punch and keep on going?

As Davy ventures deeper into the depths of KOM’s domain, he’ll gain more powers – chomping on the beats and absorbing their styles using Style Eat, collecting their over-technology to upgrade his own body at Acelino’s body shop with Body Hack, and stacking energy to unleash his ultimate attack, Davy Burst.

What’s more is that each dive into the depths of hell allows Davy to stack XP bonuses, making his powers increase exponentially over a short period of time.

About Stupid Never Dies

Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies puts you in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.

Stupid Never Dies will be available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on October 21, 2026, followed by a Japan release on October 22. The game is the brainchild of GPTRACK50 Inc., a studio formed by veteran action-game developers who previously worked on Devil May Cry, DRAGON’S DOGMA, and Resident Evil.
