The Game UX Summit will mark its 10th anniversary with a three-day event at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur, from October 12 to 14. The summit, which focuses on user experience in the video game industry, will feature professional talks, panel discussions, networking sessions and specialised masterclasses.
Standard summit tickets cost US$150, while student tickets are priced at US$50. Both provide access to the two-day main summit, with breakfast and lunch included.
Event Itinerary
The main summit programme will take place on October 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., covering game UX and related disciplines. A networking mixer will be held on the evening of October 12.
The October 14 programme will consist of masterclasses covering topics including game accessibility, cognitive science and UX strategy, culturalisation for global markets, and UI/UX design fundamentals.
Guest Speakers
Speakers announced for the 2026 summit include professionals from PlayStation Studios, Ubisoft, Riot Games, Blizzard, Tencent, CD Projekt Red, Streamline Studios and other organisations.
Among them are Riot Games senior game designer Noor Amin, Kurechii founder Png Yi Wei, Blizzard UX director Jami Lukins, PlayStation Studios senior UX/UI designer Laura Elek, Ubisoft principal UX designer Abhishek Agarwal and Geogrify/SetJetters CEO and co-founder Kate Edwards.
The event is hosted by PlayStation Studios Creative and LEVEL UP KL, organised by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). The summit is chaired by Celia Hodent, a specialist in game UX and psychology and founder of the Game UX Summit, which was launched in 2016.
