Bluepoch has announced that Reverse: 1999 will celebrate its 3rd anniversary with the launch of Version 3.7, “On Another’s Sorrow,” on August 13 on PC and mobile. The update delivers multiple game updates, generous anniversary rewards, andfree playable characters.
New Characters
- Coppélia, a new 6-star character will be available for free to all players. Moulded by Manus Vindictae’s endless trials and rituals, her arm has been transformed into a tuning fork and her torso into a resonator, playing an important role in their “orchestra”.
Players will also be able to claim the new 5-star character Silverwing Eagle and Matilda for free.
- Rhiannon, a new limited 6-star character who tends to her flock of Adar Llwch Gwin, who have long-protected her family in return.
Players can summon Rhiannon in the anniversary limited banner“A Newly Hatched Chapter”, and log in during the event to obtain Decatone – [A Newly Hatched Chapter] to get free 10 pulls.
- Ms. Stranger arrives in Phase 2 as a new summonable 6-star character. The Foundation spy rewrites her own memories to complete undercover missions under the shadows of Manus Vindictae.
Players can summon Ms. Stranger in the anniversary limited banner “Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon” and log in during the event to obtain Decatone – [Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon] to get free 10 pulls.
Gameplay Updates
Players can look forward to the following gameplay changes:
- Truth a Posteriori, a new resource management survival mode set in El Dorado.
- Focused Flashback, a mode with regular updates, pitting players against monsters and challenge stages in exchange for rewards.
- The Syndrome of Silence, a new chapter in ‘The Window to Other Worlds’.
- 8-Bit Arcade Remix: Beach Battle features the return of the Musae Arcade.
- New garments for various characters including Nautika, Coppélia, 37, and Spathodea.
- The addition of the Euphoria system for Nautika and Regulus and New Photomancy for Regulus after the version update.
Anniversary Celebrations
Logging in during the Anniversary update earns players free rewards, such as 45 Summons, a Selectable 6-Star Artifice, Time-Limited 10 Summons (Decatone), Unilog x25, and other massive rewards.
Players can also join in the Reverse: 1999 3rd Anniversary Fan Creations Event for a chance to win a Reverse: 1999-themed Alienware gaming laptop, along with cash prizes, Clear Drops, and exclusive merchandise.
Reverse: 1999 is available now on PC via Steam, and iOS and Android devices ahead of its 3rd anniversary update on August 13.
