About Witch Hat Atelier
Witch Hat Atelier follows Coco, a young girl living in a small village who dreams of becoming a wizard. However, because she was not born with magical aptitude, she believes her dream is impossible. Her life changes when she encounters the traveling wizard Qifrey and witnesses real magic firsthand, setting her on a journey that challenges everything she thought she knew about the magical world.
The original manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine in July 2016, where it would go on to earn massive global acclaim, winning the Harvey Award for Best Manga in both 2020 and 2025. Its anime adaptation premiered on April 6 on Tokyo MX and other Japanese networks, with Crunchyroll streaming the series worldwide.
