Developer Wiseye Studio Co., Ltd. and publisher Justdan International Co., Ltd. have announced that a new rhythm and fantasy game, Lily Fantasia, will launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2026.
You play as Hiano Kenji, a talented but overlooked concert pianist. Forced to abandon your musical dreams to care for your seriously ill mother, your life seems set until a fateful encounter with a mysterious vampire named Lily. Now, you’re tasked with playing a magical piano in order to obtain the “Golden Apple,” a mythical panacea that could save your mother from the edge of death!
Gameplay Features
- Lily’s Practice Room: In ‘Lily’s Practice Room,’ you can freely choose from a wide variety of song collections. These collections feature original tracks spanning a diverse range of genres by global composers, including muyu, TKAIO, ShiBa, Sakuzyo, Cansol, and DDD-Dice. Additionally, the ‘Lily Power’ accumulated in this mode can be used to unlock more songs and advance the main story.
- Lily Power: Upon completing a song, you will be awarded “Lily Power” based on your performance. Beyond unlocking tracks in the practice room, this power is essential for advancing the plot in ‘Story Mode.’ Even if you miss a few beats, you’ll still walk away with a small amount of power. Plus, you will receive a special power bonus the first time you play any song!
- Story Mode: Embark on an unforgettable musical journey into a world where destiny and melody intertwine. On this journey, music is more than just melody. It is your power to fight. Bound by song and destiny, you will uncover the truth step by step and play out the answers with your own hands.
- Piano playstyles: During the performance, black-and-white notes stream in from the left and right sides of the screen. You must strike the corresponding keys precisely based on the colour of the notes to keep the rhythm going. Furthermore, as the song progresses, the ‘magical piano’ you control will shift dynamically, moving in four directions randomly and even rotating across the stage.
- Parry System: On top of its dynamic note-matching gameplay, Lily Fantasia introduces a high-stakes parry mechanic. Players must tune into their enemies’ “heartbeat rhythm” just before a strike lands, hitting the Deflect button with perfect timing to block and counterattack. Turn every high-stakes duel into a flawless musical performance through a gripping clash of offence and defence.
Lily Fantasia will be released on July 30, 2026 via Steam and Nintendo eShop.
