Studio Trigger confirmed at Anime Expo 2026 that Delicious in Dungeon will return for Season 2, streaming exclusively on Netflix in October 2027. A newly revealed piece of teaser art features a chimerified Falin under the control of the Lunatic Magician Thistle, and the party descending to the deepest reaches of the dungeon in a desperate bid to save her.
Much of the team behind Delicious in Dungeon Season 1 will return for its second season, including director Yoshihiro Miyajima (SSSS.Gridman), character designer Naoki Takeda (BNA: Brand New Animal) and music composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles, Black Butler: Book of Circus).
The Delicious in Dungeon anime is based on the popular manga of the same name by artist Ryoko Kui. The series follows a group of adventurers led by the knight Laios Touden, whose sister, Falin, gets eaten by a red dragon while exploring a dungeon. Laios and his remaining companions embark on a mission to save her, while cooking and eating the dungeon’s monsters to survive.
