South Korean indie developers SandyFloor have announced that the Steam demo for its upcoming roguelite arena shooter PengPong is now available. PengPong is a physics-based top-down shooter that combines retro cartoon-inspired visuals, fast-paced arena action, and the replayability of roguelite progression driven by ever-changing item builds.
You play as Peng, a penguin who was once once a star hockey player. Now, he takes on dangerous cleanup jobs in contaminated zones, fighting off bizarre creatures and otherworldly threats.
Players control Peng as he swings his hockey stick to strike pucks and weapons across the stage, defeating waves of enemies. Rather than simply shooting directly, players must consider angles, ricochets, timing, positioning, and item combinations to shape each run.

With the release of the Steam demo, SandyFloor aims to introduce PengPong to players across North America and Europe, where roguelite shooters, bullet heaven games, and short-session action titles continue to attract a passionate audience. The demo gives players an early look at the game’s core combat loop, build variety, and chaotic slapshot-based action.
PengPong is also scheduled to participate in Bullet Heaven Fest and Steam Next Fest. Leading up to the full release, SandyFloor will continue collecting feedback from global players and refining the game’s overall gameplay experience.
