Warner Bros. Japan has officially confirmed that Record of Ragnarok will return for a fourth season, titled Record of Ragnarok IV. The announcement was made alongside the release of a promotional trailer and the unveiling of the new season’s logo. Illustrator Azychika also commemorated the reveal with a special illustration, celebrating the continuation of the series.
The upcoming season follows directly after Record of Ragnarok III, which premiered on Netflix in December 2025 before beginning its television broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11 in April 2026. The third season continues the intense tournament between gods and humanity, with the score tied at 3–3, raising the stakes for the decisive seventh match that could shift the balance of the war.
Based on the manga serialized in Comic Zenon since 2017, the original work is written by Shinya Umemura, illustrated by Azychika, and storyboarded by Takumi Fukui. The story’s unique premise features high-stakes one-on-one battles between divine beings and historical human warriors from across the world, emphasizing the brutal clashes driven by conviction, pride, and survival.
