Don’t Let it Starve is out now on Steam with a 15% launch discount! Developed by Eduardo Scarpato and published by Black Lantern Collective, the game is described as a horror roguelite bento-builder from hell.
Players must create bentos for a hungry chef monster by arranging food pieces into high-scoring combinations. Completing rounds rewards coins that can be spent on new items, upgrades, and modifiers, allowing players to build stronger strategies and tackle tougher challenges.
Each run will let you to adapt to new items, new challenges, and new ways to play the odds. The chef promises you the key to an escape hatch if you satisfy their hunger, but it won’t be easy, as you’ll need to master every tool at your disposal if you want to survive. If you don’t get to prove your worth, bentos won’t be the only thing on the menu…
Unlock new tools, challenges, and modifiers as you play that provide entirely new approaches and scenarios. Four difficulty modes layer on top of each other to introduce strange new bento shapes, raised score quotas, a ticking clock, and more.
