Bandai Namco Filmworks has revealed the release date for The Ghost In The Shell television anime series by Science SARU. The anime will premiere globally at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June with its first two episodes, then the anime will be streamed worldwide on July 7, 2026.
The news was revealed together with the third promotional video for the series, alongside a new key visual.
Bandai Namco Filmworks first announced the new series in May 2024, with the release window announced in February 2026 during the “Ghost and the Shell” exhibition in NODE Tokyo.
