BitSummit PUNCH! 2026 Exhibitor Applications Are Now Open

The BitSummit Executive Committee has officially announced the details for BitSummit PUNCH! 2026, Japan’s largest indie game exhibition. Set to take place from Friday, May 22nd to Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at the Miyako Messe in Kyoto, the event is returning for its 14th year with the theme “High Impact.”

This year’s slogan encourages developers to make their mark on the industry by focusing on creative purity and passion, with the event aimed at spreading awareness about the sheer wonder of indie games from Japan and the rest of the world.

Event Logistics and Schedule

The three-day event will kick off on Friday, May 22nd, with a dedicated Business Day. This exclusive day allows those in the industry to focus on B2B engagements, offering a crucial platform for developers, publishers, media, and sponsors to connect.

The event then opens up to the public on the weekend. On Saturday, May 23rd, and Sunday, May 24th, general audiences have the chance to visit, play, and experience the freshest crop of indie titles before anyone else.

Exhibitor Applications

Exhibitor applications are now open for developers from Japan and around the globe. Interested developers have until December 31st at 4:00 PM JST to submit their titles for consideration.

  • Entry Fee: ¥2,750 per title (This is a non-refundable fee covering the review process for title submission).
  • Exhibition Fee: ¥33,000 per booth (This fee covers booth setup after a title passes the screening process). Student discounts are also available.
