‘Garena Free Fire’ Gets Anime Adaptation From ‘Blue Archive’ Animation Studio

Garena Free Fire, the popular mobile battle royale game developed and published by Garena, is getting an anime adaptation from CANDY BOX, the studio behind Blue Archive: The Animation and Azur Lane: Slow Ahead. A new teaser visual and trailer have been released for the series.

Little is known about the series’ plot and voice cast thus far, but based on the trailer, fans can expect to follow a re-imagined version of Kelly, one of the game’s most iconic characters. The series will be directed by Ken Takahashi (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya), with music from Sus4 Inc. (Ragna Crimson).

KADOKAWA QINGYU, the overseas branch of Japanese publisher KADOKAWA, will serve as the series’ production manager. No release date for the Free Fire anime series has been released, but fans can likely expect more details to be revealed soon.
