‘Supermarket Simulator’ Exits Early Access With Full V1.0 Launch On PC

Following a highly successful Early Access period, Supermarket Simulator has officially launched its V1.0 version on PC via Steam. Created by solo developer Nokta Games, the first-person store management sim garnered over 65,000 “Very Positive” reviews during its early development, where it quickly became a viral hit.

The full release brings a refined and complete experience, offering players a chance to build and manage their own grocery business from the ground up. Gameplay includes everything from stocking shelves and managing prices to handling checkout, staff, and security against shoplifters.

To celebrate the official launch, Supermarket Simulator will be made available at a 25% discount for a limited time.

Key New Features in V1.0

The full release includes all previous Early Access updates, and introduces several new additions:

  • Online Orders & Town Delivery: A new logistics system allowing players to fulfill digital orders and deliver them across town.
  • Performance Optimisation: Smoother performance across a variety of hardware setups.
  • Quality of Life Improvements: Updated UI, bug fixes, and gameplay refinements for improved user experience.

Players are also able to fully design and optimize their stores for layout efficiency, visual appeal, and customer satisfaction. A real-time market system also encourages players to strategize and plan their purchases and store upgrades in order to keep their in-game supermarket competitive.

Future Plans

In response to strong community demand, Nokta Games has confirmed that multiplayer and console versions of Supermarket Simulator are in development for release in 2025. The upcoming multiplayer mode will allow cooperative store management, while the console editions will bring the experience to a broader audience.

More details on both versions are expected to be announced later this year.
