Monster Hunter Wilds Launches Special Collaboration With Street Fighter 6

Monster Hunter Wilds has launched a crossover event with its fellow Capcom franchise Street Fighter 6. The collab treats players to a host of fun new features that are sure to get anyone into the fighting spirit, including an appearance from the formidable Akuma.

Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama also delivered a special message to fans, welcoming the arrival of the Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 collaboration:

Complete the new side mission Ultimate Strength, as well as its accompanying collab arena quests Demonic Strength and True Strength, for a host of exciting rewards, including the “Akuma” hunter full armor set and layered equipment , a “Blanka-Chan” Palico full armor set and layered equipment, and a new Hunter Profile background, nameplate, and pose.

Equipping either the “Akuma” full armor set or full layered armor set allows you to use Akuma’s unique item and gestures to perform his moves! Players can use the “Assisted Combo: Akuma” item command to unleash special moves like Gou Hadoken and Gou Shoryuken, made more exciting with a recreation of the Street Fighter 6-exclusive Drive Impact system.

The Ultimate Strength side mission is available for hunters at HR 21 or higher. Talk to Quinn, the Vespae Unit handler, at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp to start the mission.

Fans can also enjoy a wide variety of paid DLC options, including Chun-Li and Cammy outfits for Alma, a Blanka-Chan pendant, and Street Fighter-inspired stickers and poses.
