Jian “Uzi” Zihao is set to be the latest player to join League of Legends‘ Hall of Legends, an initiative created by Riot Games to honour the most legendary players in League of Legends e-sports. He will become the second player in history to do so, following Faker’s induction in 2024.
Uzi is widely hailed as one of the greatest ADCs in League of Legends history. During his time as a pro player, he helped to popularize the League of Legends e-sports scene in China, even to the point of representing China at the 2018 Asian Games, where his team would emerge as champion.
His popularity amongst Chinese fans is demonstrated through the seventeen accolades he earned from the LPL (China’s League of Legends pro league), including Best ADC, a title he won in 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2019; Most Popular Player, which he won in 2016 and 2017; and being named one of the LPL’s Top 10 Greatest Players. He officially retired from e-sports in 2023, citing mental and physical health issues.

As with the previous instalment of the Hall of Legends, fans will be able to participate an in-game event starting June 11, which will feature an event pass that will guide players throughout his career, as well as cosmetics made in collaboration with Uzi. He and his team will recieve a percentage of profits from sales of passes and cosmetic bundles.
Uzi will also be honoured at an official Hall of Legends Induction Ceremony in Shanghai on June 6, where he will also be gifted with a custom Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicle, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz themselves.
More information will be made available via the Hall of Legends website beginning May 27.
