Free Fire Celebrates 8th Anniversary With “Solara”, Its First New Map In Three Years

Free Fire is celebrating its 8th anniversary with the launch of Solara, the battle royale’s first new map in three years. Players can experience a full-map Slide system, a dynamic weather system, and other innovative features in this light-tech modern town.

New Gameplay Features

  • Full-map Slide system: A high-speed transport system that allows players to quickly traverse regions, with innovative mechanics such as protective on-rail Gloo Wall shields and enemy-detection via color changes.
  • Dynamic weather system: The landscape and its iconic landmarks will seamlessly transition from day to dusk, providing gradual shifts in lighting that enhances the atmosphere and subtly changes the visibility of key locations.
  • Interactive zones and Easter eggs: Players can explore interactive zones and hidden Easter eggs in key areas, including the horse statue at Riders Club, the underground secret chamber at Delta Isle, and the Kelly Show scene at TV Tower. Starting May 21, players can also collect 8th Anniversary Tokens at the Kelly Show scene for a limited time.

Solarush! In-Game Event

To celebrate the launch of Solara, fans can take part in the limited-time Solarush! in-game event. By completing challenges and participating in themed activities, players can unlock unique animation effects and other special rewards, including an event-themed emote,  skyboard, parachute, and more.
