Warner Bros. closed out Day 2 of the event with a presentation on upcoming projects from not only the main Warners movie studio, but also its subsidiaries WB Animation, New Line, and DC Studios. Let’s dive right in:
1. Sinners
Director and scriptwriter Ryan Coogler appeared via video message to talk about Sinners, a supernatural thriller set in 1930s America. Michael B. Jordan plays a pair of twin brothers trying to leave their troubled lives behind by returning to their hometown for a fresh start, only to discover that an even greater evil awaits them.
Sinners will arrive in theatres this April 18.
2. One Battle After Another
Leonardo DiCaprio promoted his new film One Battle After Another, coming to theatres this September 26. DiCaprio plays a former member of a revolutionary group, who recruits other ex-revolutionaries to rescue his missing daughter. The film is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, and will additionally star Regina Hall and Teyana Taylor.
3. The Bride

Maggie Gyllenhaal discussed her upcoming film The Bride, a new take on the Frankenstein story that’s set in 1930s Chicago. A lonely Frankenstein has sought out the mysterious Dr. Euphronius to create a companion for him, which leads to the two resurrecting a murdered young woman, sparking romance, police attention, and a social movement.
The film is set for a March 6, 2026 release, starring Christian Bale as Frankenstein and Jessie Buckley as the titular Bride.
4. Upcoming Releases from New Line Cinema

We got a slate of release dates for Mortal Kombat (pictured above), releasing October 24; The Conjuring: Last Rites, releasing September 5; Final Destination: Bloodlines, releasing May 16; and Weapons, releasing August 8.
Weapons, the only original title among the four, is an upcoming horror-thriller from Zach Cregger (who’s also directing the Resident Evil reboot for Sony). The storyline is still largely shrouded in mystery, but we do know that it stars Josh Brolin and Julia Garner as two parents whose small town becomes engulfed in supernatural chaos.
5. F1

Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer screened ten minutes of their new film F1, which stars Brad Pitt as an ex-Formula One driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver.
The movie is being produced by Apple, but Warner Bros. will handle distribution worldwide, with a planned June 27 release.
6. Upcoming Releases from WB Animation

Visitors got their first look at reboots of Meet the Flintstones, Emily the Strange and The Cat In The Hat (pictured above); plus Oh, The Places We’ll Go, a new Dr. Seuss adaptation; and Dynamic Duo, a Batman spinoff following Jason Todd and Dick Grayson.
A few original projects were also announced, including Margie Claus, a movie about Santa Claus’s spouse; The Lunar Chronicles, a fantasy epic about four young women who team up to stop the evil Queen of the Moon; and Bad Fairies, a comedy about a gang of fairies who break every rule in the book.
7. Superman

Finally, we come to possibly the most anticipated title of the entire event – James Gunn’s promised bold new take on Superman. Gunn was joined on stage by the film’s stars David Corenswet (Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), with the four sharing their own thoughts and personal feelings about the movie.
Those in attendance got to watch an extended version of the initial Superman teaser trailer, which showed more of Krypto’s warm bond with Superman (apparently based on Gunn’s own relationship with his dog, Ozu) as he guides him to safety in the Fortress of Solitude.
