Malaysian animator Haziq Hilman has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the production of an animated short film, which will serve as a sequel to his 2024 short animated musical ‘Puteh’.
The original ‘Puteh’ animated short features a character named Putri, singing along to a re-arranged version of the song ‘Nirmala’ by Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza. The film has been well received on social media, gaining over 80,000 views on YouTube and over 600,000 on TikTok, as well as inspiring many reaction videos from popular YouTube and TikTok personalities.
