HoYoverse has announced the release of Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 1.6 update, “Among the Forgotten Ruins”, which will be available on March 12. This update introduces a thrilling new chapter where Proxies will compete in an exclusive auction against various factions to seize an artifact tied to deep, mysterious secrets.
New Storyline
In Version 1.6, Proxies will engage in an auction to secure a powerful artifact that holds the secrets of the Sacrifice, triggering rising tensions between rival factions. New challenges unfold as Hugo and Vivian seem to have their own motives, leaving Proxies uncertain of their true allegiances.
Players will also explore Anby’s past and discover more about New Eridu’s military factions, enriching the game’s lore and world-building.
New Characters
Some new characters will be introduced:
- Anby Demara (S-Rank Electric Attack Agent): Once known as Soldier 0, Anby is a dual-sword wielder capable of inflicting Electric damage and amplifying critical hits. Her skills trigger Aftershock effects and support her allies’ attacks.
- Trigger (S-Rank Electric Stun Agent): A skilled sniper and ace of the Obol Squad, Trigger uses her agility and sniping abilities to evade enemies and deal powerful Electric damage. She can call on teammates for quick assists and boost Aftershock damage.
Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent, will return under the Sons of Calydon faction. Other familiar agents, including Burnice and Zhuyuan, will also make a return.
New Features
Version 1.6 also introduces several exciting new gameplay mechanics:
- Hollow Zero Boss Battle: Confront the new boss Geppetto in Hollow Zero and unlock the newly introduced Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge.
- Shadow Operation in Hollow Zero: A new feature where each battle stage introduces unique effects, such as increasing damage based on accumulated coins.
- Trigger’s TV Schedule: A new third-person shooter gameplay mode that allows players to take on sniper missions.
- Special Events: Players can participate in Bangboo events like March On, Tiny Titan! and Little Knight’s Big Charge to earn exclusive rewards, including the playable agent Pulchra.
