TGV Cinemas has announced that Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, a theatrical experience compiling re-edited episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, will air in Malaysian theatres from the 27th of February. The announcement was made via TGV’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

The plot follows Amate Yuzuriha, a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
Under the entry name “Machu,” she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji.
GQuuuuuuX is a co-production between Sunrise, who has worked on the Gundam series since its first TV anime series in 1979, and Studio Khara, who produced the Evangelion movie series. It will also feature music from Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei and J-pop group NOMELON NOLEMON.
