Indonesian singer-songwriter Isyana Sarasvati is set to perform the Pokémon Horizons Season 2 opening theme song, “Makna Dunia”. The news was officially revealed during the Pokémon Future Plans for Indonesia 2025 press conference, which took place at the Fairmont Jakarta on January 23.
Isyana took to her Instagram to share the good news and express her thanks as a longtime fan of the franchise, writing, “The world of Pokémon brought my imagination to life and taught me about bravery, responsibility, exploration, and freedom. These are values that I incorporate into my daily life as well as my work as a musician. I still can’t believe that this year, in 2025, I have been entrusted with performing the theme song for Pokémon Horizons Season 2. Living proof that dreams do come true.”
Pokémon Horizons Season 2 is set to air on Netflix this February 2. A summary from the official Pokémon website reads: “In the newest season, Liko and Roy travel the world in search of the remaining Six Hero Pokémon and the legendary land of Laqua. But to grow as Pokémon Trainers, a new challenge awaits—Tera Training! Journeying through Paldea, Liko, Roy, and Dot must hone their Terastallization skills and battle the region’s powerful Gym Leaders.”
Other announcements made during the Future Plans for Indonesia press conference included the launch of an Indonesian tour known as “Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey”; a collaboration between Pokémon and the Indonesian national football team; a Pikachu-themed plane for the Garuda Indonesia airline, and that arcade game Pokémon Mezastar is set to launch in Indonesia this April 2025.
