The Southeast Asian gaming community is set to ignite the digital gaming landscape once again with the return of Southeast Asia Games Onward (SEA GO) 2024. Building on the success of its inaugural event in 2023, this year’s showcase promises to be an even more comprehensive celebration of indie game creativity from across the region.
From December 13th, 2024 to January 9th, 2025, the digital event will spotlight over 160 games made by developers across Southeast Asia. The event includes a video trailer of the Southeast Asia Games Onward 2024 Showcase, a curated Steam Sale, and a special collection on itch.io highlighting regional game developers.
There will also be significant discounts and promotions on top games such as DreadHaunt, Until Then, Pryzm, and many more.
To join in the celebrations, mark your calendars for this December 29th, 8PM (GMT+8) when a dedicated video showcase will present trailers of carefully selected Southeast Asian games. This event will showcase the region’s most promising game developers and their innovative projects.
Ten hosts from across Southeast Asia will also be playing and streaming selected games, bringing these unique gaming experiences directly to audiences. They are: Kertis (Brunei Darussalam), Abel Valentino (Indonesia & Singapore), Hasegawa Aika (Thailand), Nergal Near (Thailand), Karin Kishimei (Malaysia), Mocha (Vietnam), Indira Naylarissa & Silvia Valleria from Project Livium (Indonesia), and Tala & Pumpkin Unicorn from The Cham Drinkers.
SEA GO 2024 is more than just a sale or showcase—it’s a celebration of Southeast Asia’s vibrant and growing game development ecosystem. By participating, you can directly support local developers, helping to nurture and grow the region’s game development industry.
