The Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition is happening outside of Japan for the first time! The exhibition is located at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, 2nd Floor, Orange Zone (Lot 2.87) and will be held from 24th January until 24th March 2024.
Based on the popular Japanese manga that has sold more than 80 million copies worldwide, visitors will find themselves immersed in the world of Fullmetal Alchemist as they relive the journey of two alchemist brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, as they search for the philosopher’s stone to restore their bodies after a failed attempt to bring their mother back to life using alchemy.
The Fullmetal Alchemist Manga Universe Showcase is divided into 7 zones, featuring approximately 300 duplicates of manga manuscripts and illustrations drawn by author Hiromu Arakawa, plus rare collectibles such as costume props used in the Fullmetal Alchemist 2022 live action film.
In a special gesture, author Hiromu Arakawa has even prepared a unique and exclusive artwork for this first international exhibition, expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic support of their audience.
As visitors explore the exhibition, they can also dive into the excitement of collecting stamps themed after the Fullmetal Alchemist main characters at 6 stations located throughout the venue. Once the stamp rally is completed, not only will visitors earn an exclusive Fullmetal Alchemist sticker, but they will also earn an exclusive serialised certificate from the prestigious Amestris Army.
For those looking to bring home something special, there is a merchandise area with a lineup of original merchandise and exhibition-only merchandise ranging from plushies to bags. You definitely won’t want to miss this!
