Katekyo Hitman Reborn! The Stage Free Streaming Event

Katekyo Hitman Reborn (KHR) is a shounen anime that was aired from 2006 to 2010, with a total of 203 episodes. While the manga has been completed back in 2012, the series has yet to animate the remaining two final arcs.

This has caused the series to go under the radar for a few years, only to resurface in 2018 as a stage production called Katekyo Hitman Reborn! The Stage. So far, it has successfully completed three stage plays in Japan.

To celebrate the DVD/Blu-ray release of the 3rd KHR stage play, VS Varia Part II, and the upcoming adaptation of Secret Bullet as the 4th KHR stage play, Marvelous Inc. has something great in store for us!

On the 23rd and 24th of May, the first and second KHR stage plays will be on Youtube for everyone to watch! Reportedly, it will be on their channel for 24 hours.

There will also be an event happening on Twitter at the same time as the release. The hashtags # おうちでリボステ (RebornTheStageAtHome) and #StayHome will be used on Twitter live along with the staff and cast of the stage production.

Details of the event are as follows:

Don’t forget to put your hashtags #おうちでリボステ and #StayHome!

With the rebirth of old animes like Bleach and Inuyasha on the horizon, one has to wonder if KHR will be reborn too? Hopefully, with the success of their stage plays, this best-selling Weekly Shounen Jump series can be resurrected and have its last two manga arcs animated.

So, to any KHR fans out there, let’s support and do our part in reigniting our Dying Will!
