Tathvamasi Studios has opened pre-orders for SURI: The Seventh Note, its rhythm-action platformer developed in collaboration with the PlayStation India Hero Project. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 30, 2026, with a 20% discount available for players pre-ordering the PS5 version.
SURI: The Seventh Note follows Ajira, a young girl racing to find a magical fruit that could save her mother from a mysterious illness. Her journey takes her to an island corrupted by a dark rhythm. To survive, players must learn to harness the beat, using rhythm-based abilities to navigate the shifting environment and fight enemies.
The game draws visual and cultural inspiration from India’s artistic and architectural traditions, including Rajput forts and Theyyam culture.
The Standard Edition is priced at US$19.99; while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs US$24.99 and includes the base game, the exclusive Chandini Skin, entitlement to upcoming DLC and three days of early access beginning October 27. The Chandini Skin will not be available separately.
The PS5 version will feature Tathvamasi Studios’ Rhythm Haptics Engine, designed around the DualSense wireless controller. The system translates the game’s music into a multi-sensory experience, allowing players to hear, see and feel the rhythm through the game’s audio, visuals and controller haptics. While PC players will also receive haptic support, the studio has specifically enhanced the system for PS5 and DualSense.
