Serafini Productions and Soft Source have announced that BrokenLore: ASCEND, a first-person psychological horror game, will launch on January 7, 2027 for PC and consoles.
The game follows Ren and Yui, two famous Japanese rooftop climbers whose obsession with pushing their limits and feeding their fame leads them to attempt a nighttime ascent of Elysium Tower—the tallest skyscraper in Japan—for what they intend to be their ultimate video.
For Ren and Yui, falling means more than dying—it means losing the spotlight, validation, and the only sense of identity they have ever known. They will attempt to scale Elysium Tower, an officially licensed reimagining of Tokyo Tower, one of the city’s most iconic symbols.
BrokenLore: ASCEND blends first-person horror with free-climbing mechanics, stealth sequences, and acrophobia-inducing environments. Players must cling to narrow ledges, evade the gaze of the Rokurokubi, and carefully plan each movement to survive.
