Brocap Studio’s Hubert was recently selected for Tokyo Game Show’s Selected Indie 80, a showcase of noteworthy indie games from around the world. Chosen from over 1,500 submissions, the game arrives on Steam this October 12th, with a PlayStation 5 release date to follow in the coming weeks.
Hubert takes you on an adventure through the perspective of Hubert the shepherd dog, a fluffy and overconfident protagonist who seems to have a nose for trouble. Join him as he maneuvers the world through scent, instinct, and curiosity.
By his side is Lily, a sharp-witted kid who just convinced the grumpiest farmer in the valley to give them both a job. Their mission is to herd dozens of mildly chaotic sheep across the lush green pastures. It all sounds quite easy until you start to realize the sheep have the attention span of a goldfish, and the farmer has zero patience.
Beyond the farm, far into the uncharted northern wilderness, the terrain begins to seem more bizarre as there is an uneasy quietness that stirs in the forest. It seems there is not just a threat, but also a call that Hubert understands in ways he cannot fully explain.
