COVER Corporation and Kadokawa have revealed the title, visual, cast, and staff for Hololive’s first television anime project, Hololive: Let’s Head Out!. The series will follow the Hololive VTubers outside of their usual streaming activities, as they spend their days off traveling around Japan.
The omnibus-style story will see the VTubers visiting different locations throughout the country across different seasons, sampling local food, enjoying various activities, and getting into lively adventures along the way. The anime will feature 29 Hololive members, including Tokino Sora, Roboco-san, Aki Rosenthal and more.
Shunsuke Machitani is directing the anime alongside assistant director Ōri Yasukawa at Studio KAI, the animation studio behind Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Kōdai Minami is overseeing series composition, while Masatoshi Tsuji is designing the characters. COVER Corporation is credited with the original story.
