Korean Visual Novel Card Battler ‘ZombiSeed’ Launches Free Demo

Korean indie developer LemonSeed has launched a free 30-minute demo for its upcoming title ZombiSeed, a story-driven joseimuke visual novel and turn-based card battle RPG. While the demo is playable on PCs, the final game will be released on Andoid and iOS.

ZombiSeed is set a world devastated by the mysterious “Blossom” virus, where infected humans transform into beautiful but deadly Flower Zombies. Players take on the role of a teacher at an elite Hunter Academy, uncovering the mysteries of the apocalypse alongside five male students and one fellow teacher.

The game combines character-focused visual novel storytelling with collectible cards and strategic turn-based battles. Players will be able to choose from a male or female protagonist, bond with other characters through a main story and branching Card Stories, and engaging in strategic card-based battles.

Players will draw three cards each turn to create powerful combos — the longer the combo chain, the more devastating your attacks become. Each Hunter possesses unique skills, allowing for diverse team compositions and deeper strategic gameplay.

Try out the ZombiSeed demo on itch.io, and support the game’s development on Kickstarter.
